Staff at Emmanuel Baptist

Dr. Rodney F. Autry is the Senior Pastor at Emmanuel.

Prior to coming to the church in 1996 he served churches in Georgia and Oklahoma. Though he has been preaching since age sixteen, he has the unusual experience of discovering life in Christ after eight years of ministry. His passions are verse-by-verse preaching which intersects the busy lives of Northern Virginias at life changing points and training Christians to effectively share their relationship with God with others. Dr. Autry also serves as the Chancellor of Emmanuel Christian School. He is a graduate of Shorter College, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary from which he earned the Doctor of Ministry. He and his wife, Lynn, are the parents of five children.

Bill Hansen is the Pastor of Education and Administration.

He has worn many hats before meeting Jesus Christ in 1980. Artist, teacher, realtor, stock broker and race car driver are among the varied pursuits he followed before entering the ministry. A native of Wisconsin, Bro. Bill has served churches in Georgia and Florida. He is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin both at Oshkosh and Superior and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a doctorate from Luther Rice Seminary. He and his wife, Rozi, have one grown daughter.

Scott David is the Pastor of Music and Worship.

A native of Michigan, Scott has served three other churches in Virginia before coming to Emmanuel. He holds a B.S. in Christian Ministry from Crown College. He has a passion for not only leading people through music to worship God, but also in disipling Christians into a deeper walk with God. He and his wife Debbie have three children.
